As we pray for Paris, Beirut, Japan, Bagdad and Mexico, let us also remember those of our own- the earthquake victims still living in temporary shelters and ill-prepared for the cold. The Rotary Club of Patan is launching a campaign to collect and distribute blankets and warm clothes to the earthquake affected areas.
Let us not only pray but find it in our hearts to do something about it. PLEASE PLEASE donate used/new clothing and blankets (which I assure will reach someone in need of warmth) to the drop off locations in Patan (Summit Hotel) or Kathmandu (Gear Venture).
Please note the drop off for Patan side is every Mondays (tomorrow) at the Summit Hotel between 5:30 and 7pm.
KTM drop off location: Gear Venture, Balwatar (b/w chinese embassy and bhat bhateni)- Any day except Saturday.
