Please join the Nepal Expats Community for a better way to share.

I love the idea of an Expats only Community group, however I personally do not wish to partake in any social networking per se, and this group requires a social networking profile in order to join. Also, though no one wants to be bombarded with advertisements, some commercial services or public events being offered are meaningful and of serious interest to other expats, so I don't feel they should be banned completely.
Wish this new Expats only group was indeed a google group and not a "google+" group. We all love to share information about life in KTM, including services or people who serve as resources that improve the quality of life for us here, or who assist us in some way in fulfilling our activities without more headaches & frustration. For this reason I wish that the Expats only group was also not one that would exclude all commercial services, as well as being one that did not require a social profile in order to join.
Therefore, I will likely remain a voyeur only of the new group and continue to participate in this one, unless someone else starts an Expat Only Google group that is not a "google+" group.

Sorry my friend... google+ is just a so much easier and convenient way of communicating/sharing. It must be a matter of time before Google close down groups.
