 American Language Center (ALC) is a leading provider of English language instruction, offering high-quality courses to adult and young learners. We're committed to communicative, learner-centered teaching and to building a supportive environment for both students and staff. We're looking for an enthusiastic, qualified English teacher to join our team. You'll deliver engaging lessons across a range of proficiency levels, using communicative and student-centered methodologies, while contributing to a positive and collaborative teaching community.

 Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver English language lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Prepare lesson materials aligned with the center's curriculum
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grade records
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (required); degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field preferred
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (120+ hours preferred)
  • Native or near-native English proficiency
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
