Dear moderator,
If possible I would like to update my entry 'cultural event - SANSKRITI FESTIVAL'. Here the new text:
"Charity in Garden of Dreams - SANSKRITI FESTIVAL"
Dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, supporters of the good cause!
On Friday, November 12th, CULTURE4PEACE will turn the neo-classical historical Garden of Dreams into a stage for Kutumba and 1974 AD where they will express tolerance and respect for 'the other' by a musical journey and jam session. The event will be opened by the screening of a documentary about the Maoist insurgency and it's effects on education. A 5-star catering by Dwarika Hotel will frame the evening and help to make it an unforgettable memory.
The revenue of the ticket sale will be donated to the local grassroots organization Miteri Theatre Nepalgunj. Performing street drama in local communities, the artists of the group make use of cultural tools to achieve social change in a post-conflict setting.
Tickets (limited) are available at Garden of Dreams, the Yellow House, Music n Expression and Nepal Music Point. Please see attached poster for more information about the ticket sale and program or send me an E-Mail in case of interest and questions.
