Not sure how far I'll get with this project, but the basic idea is to
be able to open up CBZ/CBR files from your hard drive in your browser
to read. This depends on the browser implementing some pretty
bleeding edge things: File API, HTML Canvas, etc.

At the moment only Firefox 3.6+ implements the File API, though WebKit
is getting much closer (at least on Linux/OSX).

Now that a basic UI and capability is in place (kthoom can open up CBZ
files that use compression method 0) the next step is to enable the
ability to inflate (compression method 8).
