Welcome to this week's Word Waves, your guide to what's happened and
what's happening on KSVR 91.7FM!
LISTEN and LEARN
5PM Monday, June 6th "Skagit Talks"
There's so much to do this time of year, so if you missed the "Blast
From the Past" gathering this weekend in Sedro Woolley, listen to an
audio collage from the event, arranged by Joseph McGuire, producer of
Skagit Talks.
8-10PM Monday, June 6th "Jazz Hours"
Local, regional and global talents are sure to be highlighted during
this 2 hour program devoted to the sounds of jazz.
5PM Tuesday, June 7th "Skagit Talks"
Recently, a conference to address issues surrounding poverty in Skagit
County was held, along with a simulation exercise for people to
experience some of the issues experienced by those seeking
assistance. Learn more about the people and issues by tuning in for
this important program.
8-10PM Tuesday, June 7th "House Music with Ben"
If the weather is nice outside, just travel with your radio outside
your dwelling and listen to house music, outside with local host, Ben
Nason.
5PM Wednesday, June 8th "Speak Up! Speak Out!"
Learn more about social justice issues and solutions affecting local
and regional populations during this locally produced program which
has been on the airwaves for over 5 years.

radio station, KSVU 90.1FM which can be heard in Sedro Woolley, Lyman,
