and short guide to what's happened and what's happening on KSVR

For the next few weeks, a few programming changes are taking place on
KSVR.
Puget Sound Voices, which airs on Tuesdays and Saturdays, will be
replaced by Sierra Club Radio
Blues with Mojo Mike, which airs on Wednesdays, will be replaced by
WWOZ Blues Program

information about KSVR but a form is attached for YOU to fill out to
support KSVR as a member! Join today and support YOUR community

KSVR Spanish News Team Fundraiser
Dont wait for the raindrops to wash your car...
KSVR Spanish News Team is hosting a car wash on Sunday,
August 16th in the parking lot of US Bank on Riverside Drive in
Mount Vernon from 10:00AM-3:00PM. Suggested donation of $5 per
vehicle.
Did you know KSVR has been on the air for the past 35 years? Come
celebrate this milestone at an Open House being held at the studio on
Sunday, August 30th from 1:00-4:00PM. Meet staff and
volunteers with KSVR, go on a tour of the station, listen to live
music and enjoy light refreshments.
SUPPORT COMMUNITY RADIO IN THE SKAGIT VALLEY
Be a part of the KSVR Team! KSVR has several job opportunities
available.
DAILY PROGRAMMER- Must be available 5 days per week, between the hours
of 2-4PM to upload
radio programs at KSVR Studio, located in Reeves Hall on the campus of
Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently required.
EVENTS ASSISTANT- A few people are needed to occasionally work
recording live events taking place in the
Skagit Community. Ability to communicate in both Spanish and English,
attention to detail and ability to work independently required.
