KSVR will be recording the lecture given by Greg Mortensen, Thursday,
January 27th taking place at 7:30PM on the campus of Skagit Valley
College. If you’re not one of the 2500 attendees at this sold-out
event, we’ll be broadcasting his presentation at a later date, on
KSVR.

5PM Wednesday, January 26 “Speak Up! Speak Out”
Dave talks with Dr. Ernest Tutt of Skagit Valley College about his
presentations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's speeches and their
impact on American live. (as a reminder, “Speak Up! Speak Out” airs

7PM Wednesday, January 26th “Documentary Hour” Interview with
Chalmers Johnson, author of Blowback, about the unstable and
unsustainable political system of the US: domestic democracy and
foreign empire.

8-10PM, Wednesday, January 26th “Blue Boulevard”
Join Jackson Stewart over the airwaves for a special blues broadcast
that includes the opportunity to win tickets for “Chamber Blues with
Corky Siegel” performing at McIntyre Hall on the campus of Skagit
Valley College.

Midnight Documentary (midnight Wednesday)
An audio tour of the art exhibition: Signs of Change: Social Movement
Cultures 1960s to Now. Hundreds of posters, photographs, video, and
audio representing more than 40 years of activism, and social justice
campaigns.


5PM Thursday, January 27 “Skagit Talks”
In the news on skagit talks this week:

5PM Friday, January 28th “Skagit Talks”
Check the facebook and blog site for an update on what will be covered
this Friday on this locally produced informative program focused on
interviews and information about Skagit County and beyond.

6:30AM Saturday, January 29 "Latino Special"
Poems by Cat Ruiz from her book Stirring Up the Water. Ruiz explores
issues of her Native American (Cree) and Mexican culture as well as
nature, family, and race.

Support Citizenship Day, taking place Saturday, February 5th at Skagit
Valley College. Co-sponsored by KSVR, this is a community event
geared towards providing free legal assistance in filling out
citizenship paperwork. For more information about this annual event,
