The JNU has openings for faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the various areas of specialization.

Candidates with good academic record, teaching/research experience and working in related areas of research are encouraged to apply. University also solicits applications from candidates with research interests that are interdisciplinary. 

There is also a post of Professor of English (Unreserved):  Specializations - Post-colonial literature, except Indian English literature, Digital humanities, new media studies, popular culture studies, Literature and gender/sexuality studies.
