I am very excited that there is a technology component to this
workshop/program. I just graduated from UWG with an Ed.S in
Instructional Technology. The most important thing i learned from that
program is 'no one can learn everything about technology in a
lifetime, it changes too fast, too much!"

teaching for a total of thirteen years. Wow, it's gone quickly.

who never excelled in math or science, I hope to come away from this
week with a strong understanding of Math, Science, and technology that
I can use to engage students and boost their achievement. I also hope
to meet a strong network of teachers who are interested in doing the
same.

teach 4th grade at Bullard Elementary in Kennesaw.

I hope to learn ways to integrate technology not only as an
instructional tool for my class but also as a communication and
community building tool for my students & parents. I would also like
to know how to improve my class blog and increase its effectiveness.

Hi,
I teach at Mount Bethel Elementary and have been there for three
years. Before that, I taught 4th grade for seven years at Brumby
Elementary. Mt. Bethel was fortunate enough to be one of the schools
chosen for the 21st Century Technology initiative during my first year
there. Before that, I was pretty computer illiterate. I am so excited
about technology and its impact on my teaching and on student
learning. But I've got to keep on learning! I want to learn whatever
you want to throw at us this week.

I live right behind East Side. My son plays soccer there. I am working
on my Masters in EdL, and I cannot imagine trying to go back for my
specialist after doing this, so more power to you. Maybe if I ever
lose my mind and go back for my specialist, you can give me some
advice!

Hi Sandra

I pass Due West Elem on the way to Compton everyday. It is a cute
looking school. This will be my 3rd year teaching 4th grade in Cobb,
and I taught 4th grade for two years in Person County North Carolina.
Also, I taught 6 years on Kindergarten in Alabama, and I really
appreciate the maturity and independence of 9 year olds.
I enjoy doing projects and having discussions with them.

Have a Great One!
