KST4Contest v1.40 - much changes since last version

Hi OMs,
I did not write for a long time but I did not have been that inactive how it looks like. Today I uploaded KST4Contest version 1.40 which brings a bunch of new things into the software.

The most important change seems to be the chatmember-score-system.
For each member of the chat I am calculating a score, depending to many parameters like activity, his and my direction, frequency knowledge, band knowledge, unworked bands, rotators position and some others. I will try to make a proper update of the user manual in the next days to describe the feature a bit better.
Another important add is the smart frequency extraction which leads to better value reliability and that we know in future not only one single qrg of a chatmember but all which had been noticed.
Another new feature is the AP timeline where you can see up to 4 contesters (with highest priority) at a timeline when an AP could be reflective between you. Wintest is also supported and a few bugs are fixed now.
As this is the version which DM5M will run at the IARU march contest, from now on there will be a feature freeze and I will only try to find new bugs till the contest weekend starts. The software is well checked by some nice OMs which loan me some time for testing, finding out problems and hopefulle let me know if they are fixed or call me on further bugs.
In parallel, I will try to create a presentation out of the changelog and talking about the new things at the GHZ Tagung in Dorsten at 28.02.2026.

* Features ADDED:
- Chatmember Score system. Each chatmember gets a score depending to antenna direction, activity time, activity msgcount, positive signals, active bands, active frequencies, his sked direction (degrees), self handed rate, sked-made-rate and some others
- Chatmember Band and frequency recognition: now we list all active bands of each other chatmember, so we can tell where this is qrv
- Band alert for logged stations: on logging a station, there will appear a hint if a station provides a further band which you are providing, too
- Sked reminder ALERT: for each chatmember you can add a sked alert in a timerange between 2-15 minutes with automatic messages in 2+1 / 5+2+1 / 10+5+2+1 minutes to the chatmember and also acoustic and optical notification to the local chat operator
- PSTRotator interface: PST will update the rotators position of your local station with some nice site effects
- AirPlane Timeline: For each possible minute of AP arrival you can see up to 4 high rated pritority (based to score metric) stations which should be workable. The AP with highest potencial are preferred, not the fastest arrival. Chatmembers are transparent if your antenna not pointing to them
- Skedfail button in furtherinfo panel for bringing priority score down on sked fails with that chatmember
- Wintest logsynch interface can now be activated and deactivated in the preferences
- load chat history on startup to catch active chatmembers and last messages of the server
* Things CHANGED:
- removed: No more date display. Not needed. Saving space, only time is important
- added save option: ServerDNS / Port
- added save option: activate/deactivate pstRotator interface
- added save option: change data of pstRotator interface
- added save option: activate/deactivate wintest interface
- added save option: change data of wintest interface
- added save option: callsign sniffer
- added save option: boolean GUI_darkModeActiveByDefault = false;
- added AP notes at the internal DX cluster spots
- scrolling in chatmember table on message select everywhere in the software
- Generic Autoanswer and QRG answer fires maximum once in 45 seconds per rx callsign to avoid spam and message pingpong
* Bugs FIXED:
- Userlist sort automatically on new member signon (multiple reporters), the list is now sorted in every case at every time
- Posonpill-messages now kills only exactly one Client instance, not all in the netork and not wtKST instances (bugreport 9A2HM)
- Crash of wtkst by disconnection of kst4Contest (message format exception)
- wtKST crashes when kst4contest is running (many reporters). Reason: malformed message for ASWATCHLIST
- wintest: logged per band excludes pre worked band (only at the display) (bugreport SM6VTZ)
- PSTRotoator SOCKET Close on DISCONNECT BUTTON works now
- AirScout Map (ASWATCHLIST) had not been updated, it´s done now and now in the limits of max-distance (bugreport SM0RJV)
- QTFDefault had been not saved correctly (bugreport SM0RJV)
- Show path in AS button worked only with fixed AS/KST server Strings (bugreport 9A2HM)
- Sniffer: at public messages, additional "sniffed" was shown in CQ Table, too
- Version number had been displayed wrong
- pm to me filter in furtherinfo-panel showed also messages to all users -> fixed
- suffixes like /p, -2, etc. problem now fixed everywhere
- Dark mode: passing for qrg fields fix, were not displayed in full size!
* Bugs known and still UNFIXED, not the highest priority
- Endless loop in error case lets freeze the client
- disable Airscout checkbox --> no effect
- Usersort: UA5 sorted, UA0 and UR6 = TODO
- AS timing from Mats: solution have to be analyzed
- save CQ1 text changes (actual only save at textfield tab-leave)
- also chat CQ2 beacon text and some other fields, values are only saved if you leave the textfield...change listener
- Prefixes like "OZ/DO5AMF" have to be ignoired like the suffixes are now. Its not in the game so far
- pstrotator delay time after button click .... as waiting for rotator change for spid workaround -> Thats unsexy
- markasworked of own database does not mark -2 und -70 stations as qrv, only raw callsigns
- Sniffer: callsigns are not saved, yet
* Roadmap for next version (definitive goals):
- add manual worked (set worked button)
- make links clickable
- lifetime for logged stations to avoid the needage to reset the database manually
- decrease line of scrollback to save some cpu time
- establish category filter on multi chat usage
- Generate QRG-Change-Spot button!
- Back to Run QRG Button (or last change) to make it faster to RUN again
- Additional direction Filter! Show who is in my dir due to spots
- Sniffer: add: locator sniffer and word sniffer
- Sniffer: Coloring: Sniffed messages should have a special color
