Hi all,
KST4Contest v1.43.1 is now available.
The functional changes since v1.42 were already included in v1.43.0. Unfortunately, some embedded metadata in those packages still reported version 1.42. This affected the displayed version, ON4KST identification and version comparisons.
v1.43.1 is the corrected package. There is no functional difference between 1.43 and 1.43.1. Only corrected the version number...
What changed since v1.42:
• Private-message age highlighting now remains correct when table rows are reused.
• Quiet ON4KST servers are actively checked before the connection is considered lost.
• Simplelogfile processing is more robust. The file is closed after every scan, so logging software can replace or rotate it.
• UCXLog and Win-Test now use the same band normalisation, including the existing microwave bands.
• Compact full-frequency values such as 10368100 are recognised correctly.
• Stored Worked information is loaded before the first user list is displayed (bugfix for 1.42 where the marking had been a bit of random until you selected "worked station database" - preferences)
• Local DX Cluster spots use a fixed 75-character, DXSpider-compatible format.
• Relevant table widths, window sizes and divider positions are saved automatically and minimized at the first startup to save screen space
• Truncated table values show their complete contents in a tooltip.
• The new Group nearby stations checkbox can disable spatial marker clustering on the station map. This does not change the map position, station selection or callsign identities.
• The German and English manuals and the project website have been revised accordingly AND ARE FINALLY READY AFTER 6 WEEKS REVIEWING! YAY!
