KSP Locates Escapee
Smiths Grove, KY (Warren County) - On January 17. 2020 at approximately 8:45 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green, received a call stating a suspicious person was at a gas station in Smiths Grove.
Trooper Kevin Mayfield responded to the call, where he came in contact with escapee Wayne Weeks. Weeks was arrested without incident and lodged in the Warren County Detention Center.

KSP Requesting Assistance in
Locating Escaped Inmate
Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) – On January 10, 2020 at approximately 10:15 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, received a call from the Christian County Detention Center stating an inmate had escaped while on work release at the Senior Citizen’s Center.
The escapee is Wayne Eldridge Weeks, 38 years of age, of Hopkinsville, KY. He is a white male, with brown hair, brown eyes, approximately 6 foot tall, and weighs approximately 260 pounds. Weeks was last seen wearing a turquoise short sleeve t-shirt, a dark blue lightweight jacket, and jeans. He has a tattoo of a Celtic knot on his right wrist, Greatful Dead symbol on his right forearm, Greatful Dead dancing bears on his left forearm, and other tattoos on his right and left calves.
Weeks was being lodged for the following charges:
1.) Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000,
2.) Bail Jumping 1st Degree
3.) Bail Jumping 1st Degree
4.) Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified).
