Dear Sir

Request you to please read this mail.

I request all the members to please raise your voice and top-up this mail with the problem we are facing so that the higher authority knows about it.

I am one of the employee of your bank.

I do not know that you are aware about the course (post graduate diploma in relationship banking) which is being connected by Manipal University on behalf of Kotak bank.

So I am give you some highlights about the program.

1.It is one year course where we are thought all the banking subject in details.

2.we are tought subject like

Risk management

Trade forex

Financial planning

Banking laws and regulations

Commercial banking

We are shown dream in the Manipal University that we are Deputy manager but one we came to branch then we realised that all that was dream.the actual job is to seal CASA and most importantly INSURANCE.

I am not complaining you that we have to seal CASA and Insurance that is why we are complaining you.

The main point is that if we had to seal CASA and INSURANCE then what was the need of going through that type of one year course from a reputed University?

Bank would have hired employee directly from open market.

We want you to make you aware that for this Course (PGDRM) we have paid 400000 through taking loan from Kotak.

And after paying this much amount now every day we think we have been made fool by Kotak. Because if we have to seal CASA and INSURANCE then there is no point of sanding 400000 for course and wast 1 year of time.

The most notorious things is that we have been signed agreement of 4 year,that if we leave Kotak then we need to pay another 150000.

Now we think all the RO which are recruited directly are far better than us neither they have spent so much amount nor they have to pay any amount when they want to leave the job.

In terms of salary structure we are said that we are getting 29000,but it is just for showing.in this amount again we are deducted 12000 EMI for the loan we have taken for doing that course so the final salary we get is 17000.And the RO which are hired directly are getting between 20000 to 30000.

So I want to say you that what is the need of this type of course? Just to earn money from students by making us fool.

Every day we are getting humiliated in the branch for not doing INSURANCE.

I just wonder that I am working in insurance company or in banking.

I don't have any problem in sales or selling,I am one of the top performer in my region but still I have that pain that I have wasted 400000 for doing this kind of job and it's not about only me I think all the Manipal pass out are facing same problem.

Many of them have already left the job but the point is that for leaving this job again they have paid 150000.

One more thing that time we have been told that we are getting education loan from Kotak for doing this course but once we came to branch then we came to know that it is personal loan.

There are numerous point which can we highlighted.

I don't know whether you will read this mail or not but just I will be satisfied that I have send my query to my higher authority.

It's my humble request please stop this course because we feel cheated and humiliated.

Absolutely u r right . Thats why i left kotak , this is a worst course i ever seen stop this course kotak is cheating people like anything by paying that much of big amount.

Everytime it feels so disgusting whenever I used to think about the past experience at kotak. I also had left the job because of the same issue. They have made RO's just an insurance agents.

I am in support for the same issue, as now i am not an employee of this organisation and i donot have fear of  the authorities too. I think every RO who is not satisfy with the terms and conditions of kotak, should raise their voice against this matter.

I really appreciate the person who raised this concern. I have also did the same course from Manipal University being part of this program we have gone through all core banking subjects such as commercial banking, trade forex, financial planning and many more and just after finished this course bank redeployed everyone in RO profile ,If I talked about Kotak bank scenerio the profile is completely based on one product that is life insurance product , the primary focus of bank is life insurance product only. Then what is the need of conducting such program at Manipal University. As an employer Kotak is not utilising right person at the right place . Banks are purely converted into sales channel now. Fooling with such a course which involves personal loan instead of education loan , course content which was not relevant to profile RO. If somebody wants to go in any other profile then higher authorities not allow that person to switch in other profile by simple stating that you are in a contract of 4 years with Kotak before that you can't leave and we can't allow you to move in other profile as per contract.

Through this mail , I request to all higher authorities to kindly look into this on priority.

Seriously I am fed up of this. I had talked to HR of my region for role change or for just a transfer, everything I have explained them but they are not doing anything, I had talked to them several times. I just want role change if they want to treat us like an insurance agents or else I need transfer on the same package. If any of our authority can understood our issue please help. Because I had never thought to leave kotak.

Great that someone has raised his voice because i have talked to my friends of batch 14, 15, 16 and 17 some of them are afraid to topup on this mail because they are still working in "KOTAK" but thuth has been spoken this is the truth of Kotak KSO program. Not a single person is happy whit their decision to choose this program. 

Although axis bank young bankers program is still better than this atleast they can choose either they want to go for diffrent departments like forex, branch banking etc without and bond. 

Well not much to say already wasted my 4 lakhs and my precious 1 and half years. 

HR's are also not supportive in kotak just try calling random HR in different region on their registered mobile no they will not answer and reply to your mails after 2 3 days. 

And request my fellow KSO batchmates don't waste their time in kotak if you think this is not the place where you belong just leave for a better tomorrow.

if u want insurance agents open market you will get so many persons ..

those who are came this course everyone have their dreams nd thoughts but complete carrer spolied by kotak..you tought credit dep nd forex so many banking subejets ...why dont u offer in such departments..hearing the sound of depauty manager really we proud before applying this job ..now really hate this..this is completely business doing with students nd their lifes..totatlly lost time nd money

It is appreciatable, the person who took stand to let the higher authority  know about  what is happening  behind the scene.

I am also one of the victims of manipal program. When I was enrolled  to the programme, I was taught various aspects  of banking except  the elements  required  for job role  as agreed. Throught out the course everyone  is mislead  by authorise responsible for. 

It is only after the appointment  we got to know  the real picture of job role, which only requires selling CASA and most importantly  insurance  product.

It is painful to say that  this course didn't help us to perform the job role assigned comparing to those recruited directly  from market.

We all leave with the burden of being cheated paying 400,000. Along with that, 150000 penalty  deducted  from my last month salary  without any intimation or permission from us.

This is the story of each student competed the  course  from various  batches .It is disappointing that such a reputed bank promoting it. 

It is indubitable PGDRB  got wonderful syllabus of banking but not suitable  for the Kso program. I kindly request  you to recheck the syllabus  or shuttdown  this pathway of selection  and also please put your glans over the financial  hazards faced  by those who already gone through these program.

Dear Kotak Higher Authority

It's been so many days we waited for your replies,but this is really non serious attitude towards this mail.

Now I really wonder that we are working in such a organization where no body care about our problem.They do not have time to reply to your concern, They just know how to get maximum work done from you.

We send this mail to most of the higher authority of our bank ,and it was not me who have problem which is mentioned in the primary mail but many have replaced the same but instead of this non of the higher authority have time even to reply to this mail.I really wonder how this origination is running.

I know there are numerous employee Through the same course and many of them are just affered to raise there voice because they fear of lossing there job,but I am not.Although I once again request all the batch member to please raise your voice against this because you all can think now that in how much non serious attitude organization we are working that even they do not have time to reply.They might be thinking we are just small number which they can avoid.

This is the last mail we are writing in hope of proper reply from the higher authority.

If we will not get reply to this mail then we do not have any option,In that case we will have to take help of Social media, print media, electronic media(I had talked to one of the famous hindi national news channel and they are ready to cover this news,they have already telicasted some series on bank and banker's life now a day you can go and watch it on YouTube ) and it will be more damaging for the organization.

Once again I request all the members support and topup from one and all.

Dear team

I have also tried number of times contacting my HR partner regarding same , but no positive response. They are just treating like waste of their time to respond our queries. 

We have paid DD in favour of kotak Mahindra Bank for this job. In training except LI they thought everything , but on field only LI is required.

I request the team to place right people in right place so that productivity increases and also employees satisfaction towards their job increases , that results in positve vibes .

I request management at least talk to us, take our feedback towards same .They at least address our issue and  try to resolve it.

Productivity only increases when their is job satisfaction.

Putting regination is like doing sucide for us because we already paid 4 lakh for this job by taking loan from kotak and again I have to pay Rs 1.8 lakh for job regination. I haven't have fund now to pay for bond breakage. So what to do ... only way is to go through mental torture everyday.

Hope for the best.

I'm facing same problem, once I completed my PGDRB and after that I joined the branch, I have lots of potential, positivity & all. Once I joined and I heard about RO profile from employee of Kotak Bank. I was surprised even in my OJT I don't know about the documentation of the CASA. BT everyone thought I am a trained employee I know each and everything related banking, but the basic things about process and control everything I don't know. It's totally different what I learnt in Manipal, I'm doing basic things here, in my opinion I don't think in this role any training required. Bank is conducting so many trainings that training is sufficient for this role.

Main thing is when my hr Mrs. Shibani asked me about location at that time she assured to all once you will placed your branch will not change. If I will request you it's not possible she took sign from all KSO 16th batch.

BT I think many of us facing the problem of branch changes,  even I got branch transfer two months before. 

How can a bank run like this, I hope the higher authority will understand our concern and kindly revert on this mail.

We are running our life here, no moral ethics totally different what I learnt and what I am doing.

It's better if Kotak will place all in core banking or single product we will do better.

Dear sir/madam

It's been more than two months we are continuously mailing our concern to you but till now we have not got any proper response. This really wonder me that how this organisation is functioning or is it function in the same manner that if you have any problems then you will have to short by your self organisation will do what ever they want.

   This will be the last mail where we are once again highlighting our issues to you .

1. For a RO position what was the need of 1 year course of PGDRB ? What is the point of spending 4 lakhs for such role which any one can get directly without spending a single rupee ? That too by taking loan.

2.we are tought subject like

Risk management

Trade forex

Financial planning

Banking laws and regulations

Commercial banking

But once we come to branch then we came to know we need to seal CASA and LI.

Do you think that it has any relevance in sealing Life insurance and CASA ? A normal AAM does the same thing.

3. What is the difference between a normal RO which are recruited directly and a Manipal University RO ? We would say directly hired have more benefits then us .they do not have any bonds they can leave any time.

4. For us why we have 1 year of probation period where as a directly hired have only 6 months ?

5.A directly hired RO can leave the organisation any time after serving notice period where as we need to pay additional 1.8 lakhs why ?

6. The most important is on the name of education loan why you have given us personal loan ? At the time of signing documents we have signed in education loan but currently in our system it shows us personal loan,why such cheating ?

7.I have already started escalation on social media as well as electronic media. I have attached some of the image of it. 

8. We have audio recording of various area manager from north,west, south how they harasses for sealing Life insurance. Which we have not shared it now on social media.but if we don't get any proper response and action from higher authority then we will have no option but to share it on different social media platforms and with the electronic media.

Whatever above said each and every point is right..each and every stage will give you our support and cooperation brother...they are spoiling time and career,money everything ..daily facing harassment by bank..we are expecting proper reasponse from higher authorities.this is not a small issue please take action as soon as possible orelse we are going to approach media.
