Is there any tool that generates java classes from a WSDL file?
How can I use it for developing an Android web service client
application?

There are for various Java frameworks but not for KSOAP. There is a patch in upstream that might work but it is not in ksoap android. Check out this issue.

and follow the link. It would be great if you can merge it in or report any findings.

Hello

I wrote a WSDL2Ksoap2 to interface Android smartphones with
Moodle's Web Service.

It is an extension of some Axis 1.4 classes to generate helper classes
specific to KSoap2

Find it in package org.ksoap2.wsdl here

https://github.com/patrickpollet/moodlews_ksoap2

It should be useable with other kinds of Web Service

Cheers.

You can use this web site to generate all required classes to connect to your SOAP web service:

It uses ksoap2-android library and supports quite complex web services.

I have added a link to easywsdl to the left links section on the site.
