Prayer Request - Interviews and Interests

Posted by: "Tony Williams" tonysatiger16@ yahoo.com   tonysatiger16

Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:47 am (PDT)

I would very much appreciate your prayers for the interviews I am going through right now. I've had several telephone and in person meetings with one specific company, and am now being contacted by others within the organization to more thoroughly be "vetted" I believe. I'm excited, but asking for it all to work out for God's plan.
Also have 2 other organizations stating interest in me, but they have yet to start interviewing for the positions they have open. One of these is a big move to another city.
Thanks so much to everyone working with BJM and to those who take a moment to pray as well.
God speed and God bless to all, especially to those still "Between."

ZIP Lunch networking meeting, Friday at Strack's

Posted by: "James Sandham" jsandham77@hotmail. com   jsandham77

Tue Apr 27, 2010 1:32 pm (PDT)

All,

Strack's Family Restaurant is back OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

I'd like to invite you to the 'ZIP Lunch' networking meeting that is held most Fridays at Strack's Family Restaurant on Louetta Road. This is the same restaurant where BJMers meet for lunch on Wednesdays after the networking sessions end. We meet Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (approx. ending time). We meet in one of the two banquet rooms to the LEFT as you enter.

Map to Strack's:
http://www.mapquest .com/maps/ 5707+Louetta+ Rd+Spring+ TX+77379- 7928/

The ZIP in our name refers to a job hunt being a 'Zeroing In Process' for the job seeker and for the hiring company. The meeting is open to people in all occupations. We encourage you to join the group to share ideas and job leads. Please bring about 25 of your business cards to swap with other members.

Note: ZIP began as an offshoot of BJM, but is not affiliated directly with BJM in any way, nor are our meetings similar to the BJM Senior Managers' meetings. Our members represent all levels of the corporate ladder, come from many industries, and have held a wide variety of non-managerial job titles. We welcome ALL job seekers.

We try to help each other stay focused on our individual job searches by using the group's collective knowledge to help you deal with resumes, cover letters, interviewing technique, salary negotiation, effective networking, Thank You notes, and much more. Our most important purpose is to support each other. The group is generally 15-25 people, and the meeting is very informal, so leave your dressy interview clothes at home! Don't forget to bring your appetite -- it's a LUNCH meeting!

Fellow BJMers,

Hello to all and just want to say thanks and blessings to all the wonderful people I have met thru BJM, including the faithful volunteers.

God has granted me access with the very company that layed me off not quite 2 months ago. I am unsure how long this job will last but Abba Daddy knows, and I will work faithfully until the next bump in the road.

If I have learned anything thru this ordeal it is that God will provide. Jehovah-jireh.

I will continue to pray that God will also find that perfect job/career for all!

Blessings,
