Mr. Bacon-

Please do not contact me.

Have candidates review the required duties for a match before sending a resume to Mr. Roberts with salary expectations.
A good screening of their experience versus required duties will ensure that I use BJM for future openings as well.

Have a Blessed Day,

Suggestion

I need some suggestion and would appreciate any one have been through or have similar experience. Please advise

I went for an interview about three weeks ago but did not
get the job. I saw their ad today again and called them. It is a
contract job for one year,. I spoke to the director and asked him if
there is any question or concern they may have that I can clarify. He
said I know that you are qualified but we need your rate. I told him
that I would be willing to negotiate a rate and am very flexible. He
wants me to write some thing up and e-mail him my salary requirements.

Do
you have any suggestions. I don't want to give them a rate that may be
too high or too low but at the same time I don't want to miss the
opportunity.

I would appreciate any suggestion that you may have.

Good morning BJM,

My name is John Harris, and I've been a part BJM close to a year now. I was made awhere of BJM by a good friend of my fiancee' Ms Elma Lockett! So I want to take this time to tell her thanks for being a friend to my fiancee' and also for trying to help me find employement.

I just wanted to say sometimes its comforting to hear good things happening to fellow Christian or to anyone for that matter! At times I allow myself to get really down when things doesnt go as planned but to see and hear the testimonies of fellow BJMer's is inspiring hear!

I am recently engadged, since January 2010 to be exact and to say things aren't going as planned would be a understatement.

We have been together now for four years, nine months. My fiancee' is an absolutely amazing Christian women and there is nothing I wouldnt do for her or the kids! Throughout the five years we've been together, it's been a challenge for me to stay employed so that I can take care of them the way I know Im suppose to take care of my wife and kids. I believe now the stress of me not working along with the fact my fiancee' has been carrying majority of the load saddens me and the financial toll it has taken on our relationship is great!

I lost my truck in January of 09 then I was laid off in February of 09. In the past year I've only been on 4 interviews! I don't have a place to call home. now I'm faced with another difficult decision that will have a tremendous impact on our relationship! With that said I'm asking for all your prayers.

I was brought up with saying that my pastor use to close out church service with every Sunday! He use to say 12 little words that couldn't be more fitting for me than right now! He told us
"More Prayer, More Power,
Little Prayer, Little Power,
No Prayer, No Power".

So I guess I'm asking for each of you to pray for my family and I. pray that my financee' and I make it through this storm together, pray we will come out of this tribulation as a much stronger couple only never to separated again! Pray I find employement that would allow for me to take care of her and the kids the way they deserve. pray I find transportion so I can support my family! Finally pray for my fiancee', kids, and my health and also pray that the lord gives us strength to hold on to what we have and pray for us not to give up on each other or on our faith!

Thanks

John Harris

SAP Experience

Posted by: "Fleming, Jeffrey" jmf011@shsu. edu   jeff_fleming

Tue Apr 20, 2010 8:13 am (PDT)

Greetings all,

Not sure if this is necessarily on-topic but I'm going to ask the larger group in hopes someone can help me.

I'm looking to find out how to gain some familiarity with SAP. It appears to be a preferred requirement/ skill for many jobs that I'm looking at or at least those I've seen in recent weeks/months.

Please pardon my ignorance but it seems it is a skill/familiarity one can only get by using SAP or by attending a formal training session.

I do know it is a multi-modular Human Resource/Business Management system (software system) run and operated by SAP (Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany) but that is about all I can find on it without incurring costs to sign-up and attend a formal training session.

Any direction anyone can give me would be most appreciated.

Thank you!

Best Regards,
Jeff Fleming

Another Prayer Request Please

Posted by: "wangchung_1999" laugarrick@gmail. com   wangchung_1999

Tue Apr 20, 2010 8:53 am (PDT)

Hello Fellow BJM'ers,

I had my second interview yesterday with the direct supervisor which I think went well but he may of had another opinion of the interview. The interview itself didn't really feel like an interview but rather him selling the company and job to me with a couple interview questions mixed in and lasted over an hour.

He informed me that their were other positions opened in the department which I met with those supervisors (who were all impressed by my resume) which I also think went well. The only part I was concerned about is the Excel Test. I was so focused on the more complicated parts of Excel that I didn't read up on some of the other more beginner functions. For these functions I had to manually key in the entry which took up alot of my time. After the test was finished the test administrator informed me that the other candidates completed around same amount of work that I did.

Do you think if I didn't do as well on Excel exam that it'll automatically exclude even though my interviewers like me?

Anyways I'm requesting that you pray for me that I'm the chosen one for the job I originally applied for and if I'm not that I'm chosen for one of the other jobs in the department.

Thank You

Garrick Lau

ü Don't ever say anything negative to the recruiter about your college or previous jobs, companies, or supervisors.

ü Don't get overwhelmed by the size of the job fair or the number of job seekers in attendance.

ü Don't just drop your resume on the recruiter's table and walk off. Shake hands and introduce yourself to recruiters.

ü Don't keep this to yourself! Bring a friend and please tell someone that might benefit from this event!
