I am asking for prayer for my unemployment. I continue to fervently send out my resume to architectural companies but the industry is at a total standstill. I struggle with what to do next...to change careers or keep hoping? Since the beginning of my unemployment in October I have had COBRA insurance issues that continue today.

A lesson and warning for all to learn....... A month ago I terminated a "contract" job, because this non-for profit organization, as they saw fit kept minimizing my hours. Consequently, I was contract to teach construction skills to the underserve population, but as the enrollment was not materializing, I was asked not to come in to work. Thus I had a contract job but not work, no money and no classes in the horizon. After a month with this organization, I was told that they wanted to route me through an employment agency. As a matter of fact I did employment paperwork for the organization at the time I applied. A month later, I had to do paper work for two temp agancy. I do not know if this was legal of them to do, but now TWC saw me as having started working on the day I turn in my paperwork to the agency. Which was a month after my original hire date.

Because I walked away, according to TWC I am no longer entitled to receive unemployment. I am appealing and I need your prayers for God's favor and wisdom.

Please know that even if you apply for substitute teaching, but never get a job, TWC will consider you working. And your benefits may be revoked.
