Subject: 2nd Announcement of SEECD Workshop in San Francisco April 27-28, 2013
Dear KSEA Members and potential SEECD applicants,
KSEA is pleased to inform you the Scientists and Engineers Early Career Development (SEECD) Workshop West will accommodate senior year graduate students in the Ph.D. Program in addition to assistant professors, post doc, junior scientists and engineers. For graduate students in the Ph.D program as well as other applicants, the deadline has been extended to April 7.
Workshop topics included strategies for winning grants, journal publications, career advancement, tenure and politics, and communication and presentation skills.
KSEA will support a large part of transportation, meal, and lodging expenses.
The venue and dates are:
Date: April 27 – 28, 2013
Venue: Hilton SFO, San Francisco, CA
