Hi all,

Two questions:
1) Do any of you have any experience with New World Ayurveda? I have a client asking and haven't heard anything or have any first-hand experience.
2) I have a client who has a breakfast of "Bullet-Proof Coffee," which is 1 cup of coffee with 1 Tbs coconut oil and 1 Tbs butter. She says it sustains her well until lunch with no other food. The rest of her diet is great. She says when she has oatmeal instead for breakfast she is hungry well before lunch. She has great digestion and I was just trying to think about what effects this drink may have on her system, aside from the effects of coffee. Any thoughts?

Thanks. Hope you all are doing well.

om,
Yana

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. I am so grateful for all of you and this incredible journey we are on together.

I am traveling to Kripalu on Dec 1, arriving into Albany at 4:10pm to assist Cynthia for KSA12 Foundations 2. Wondering if anyone is in the area and can give me a ride to the school? Would love it if we could have dinner and catch up too!

Jai,
Tracy

I believe John Douillard mentioned with coffee ghee does make it sustaining over just drinking a bitter herb.
The effect would be constitution dependent.

Eating coconut oil and butter in the morning, is like drinking ghee on a cleanse.

It quiets the digestive fire, and we are not hungry until noon.

The risk to the body is the number of hours since the last nutrition was ingested for energy and building tissues.

If the last previous meal was 6 pm the night before, not eating until noon is asking the body to wait 18 hours between meals.

Thus – generating a stress condition, which is not conducive to losing weight.

Would recommend a small amount of protein and low glycemic carb in the morning.  Eggs and Oat bran cereal…  Or at least a protein shake.
