Hello out there-

My daughter is 16 now! Perhaps you

remember little Hazel from KSA graduation. 

Someone gave her a bindi sticker and when she came out of the labyrinth she said with a smile, “Mama, I put it on the Buddha.”

We’ve had quite the challenging past 15 months. 

Hazel is working hard and evolving. It’s impressive. I’m pretty sure she has more interpersonal and emotional regulation skills than most adults now.

I’m still cleansing my senses each morning and have a monthly snehana client. Found solace in a kitchari cleanse to help heal a nagging cold. Was out-of-the-blue inspired to practice dasha chalana the other day! The lessons are all in there.....

Dear Friends and Family,

 

Life changed dramatically about a year ago. Hazel was facing challenges that required support 

not available at home. Hazel is one of the fortunate few who gets a chance to step out of a life 

that wasn’t working and into an environment that exists for the sole purpose of healing and rebuilding. 

 

And it comes at a great financial cost. Hazel is getting the help she needs because I was crazy enough

to envision the near impossible scenario of sending her to Utah for wilderness therapy and then residential 

treatment. And because some extremely generous friends and family stepped in. 

 

I am still facing a shortfall and need your help. I’m on a mission to get two hundred of you to each 

donate $100. To give you some perspective, this amount will cover about two months of treatment. 

Hazel began her current program in May 2019 and the average length of stay is eleven months. 

We had the great joy of being with her at home over Thanksgiving and again at Christmas. She is doing well.

 

Is it ok to give more than $100? Of course.

 

Is it ok to give less? Of course.
