Hello Kansas Native Plant Society supporters !
If you have not renewed your membership for 2023, now is the time to to do so. When you renew, begin or gift a membership before December 31st, you help us plan our budget for the coming year.
Each paid member receives four Newsletters featuring:
- Information about upcoming events.
- Newly published book reviews.
- Learn about the Wildflower of the Year.
- Reports about the outings and walks taking place around the state.
- Information you need to plan to attend the Spring/Summer gathering and the Annual Wildflower Weekend.
The KNPS Plant A Prairie program will provide native plant gardens to schools across Kansas for the fourth year in 2023. Stay up to date on how these gardens are growing and how youth are interacting in-person with native plants.
The Mary A. Bancroft Memorial Scholarship will be accepting applications through March 15, 2023. The $1,000 scholarship will help support a graduate student in Kansas who is conducting research that enhances our understanding of native plant species or their ecosystems and conservation.
Memberships start at $20 per year for Individuals and you may renew, or begin, a membership online at the link below. Gift memberships can be given by including a note with the recipient's name and mailing address during the payment process.
Your membership dues are important to us to help fund native plant education and activities across Kansas.
Thank you!
