2021 AWW update & getting involved in digital KNPS

July 31, 2021 update: Due to health concerns, the in-person KNPS Annual Wildflower Weekend 2021, and general membership meeting location, scheduled for September 17-19, in Galena Kansas, are being reconsidered by the Board of Directors. A decision on location, type of meeting and dates will be made and announced by August 10th.

If an in-person meeting is not sensible, a virtual, general membership meeting will be held on Zoom, September 23, 2021, 6:15-7:00PM. Notification will be made on the KNPS website and through this KNPS Email List.

The yearly general membership meeting opens the opportunity to vote, in this all volunteer group, on who enjoys a seat on the governing board, and who will participate in moving this vital organization into a bright future. KNPS is a diversity based organization, seeking diverse input. We have multiple opportunities for growth in all communication mediums. If you have an interest in native plants and are seeking grass roots experience in web, digital, and email communications, or seek experience in working with people on blending social and traditional communications platforms, the Kansas Native Plant Society wants to talk to you!
