Sabetha City Lake is located 6 miles west of Sabetha on 192nd Road. This is an opportunity to explore a northern area of Kansas. Follow a KNPS guide and tour the lake grounds and discover wildflowers, forbs, grasses, sedges, trees, shrubs, and more! Some rare plants we hope to see are Limber honeysuckle and Virginia clematis.
Wear sturdy shoes and long sleeves. Bring insect repellent, water and a snack if you choose.
Meet at the Casey's General Store on Old Highway 75 in Sabetha at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, and carpool to the Sabetha Lake west of town.
