September is Native Plant Appreciation Month!  Each year the Kansas Governor signs a Proclamation that describes the beauty and variety of native plants and their habitats in Kansas.  Reading through the 2021 Proclamation will remind you of places you've explored, and places you want to visit.

The 2021 KNPS Photo Contest is open until September 12!  Take a look at the Categories and choose your best photos to enter.  The contest is open to current members only - one of the benefits of Membership is the chance to have your native plant photos featured in the KNPS Newsletter and website.
