Good morning guys.

I was playing with krypt-core-c and krypt-provider-openssl and I was just wondering if, instead of build C using Ruby we could make use of autotools.

To build it like a real C project. Why am I asking it? It make easier to create brew packages or use it with iOS for example.

It makes sense?

Given our recent discussion and plans with the Java side of the code, this seems like a great idea!

My only concern is that while we can relatively easy isolate a common krypt java library and then use it via Maven in the JRuby builds of krypt, I'm not sure how we should handle this on the C side. Do you have an idea? How we could include the pure C, autotoolified parts in the build for the krypt-core-c gem?

Hi Martin, we can figure out how to it. Just checking if it's valid to the future.

We can revisit it later for sure.
