Hi All,

Fedora 38
krusader-2.8.0-4.fc38.x86_64
Xfce4 4.18.4

Getting ready to upgrade my main computer to FC39, I did the following
commands

# rpm --rebuilddb
# rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
# dnf --enablerepo=* update --refresh
# reboot and repeat the above update until no updates registered
# dnf autoremove

Okay, now both krusader and smplayer seems to have lost
all their text, except for the first letter and any
numbers. Capitol letters seems to come out.

This is krusader:

How in the world do I fix this?

Many thanks,
-T

running as a user from the command line gives

$ krusader

Both krusader and smplayer render fine from the root account

I renamed my ~/.config. Then copied the old entries
over from it to a new ~/.config about three directories
at a time. Each time firing up smplayer to see if
it weirded out. Never did. All fixed now. Both
smplayer and krusader are happy campers now. I
can not speculate ...
