Grey Slate

Have been using krusader for about 4 days without issue; now, quite suddenly, all I get is a slate-grey window with no content. The window mgt actions work, but that's it ( a click or right-click inside the window does nothing). I logged out/in, no help. Then removed it completely (synaptic) and re-installed, stil no help. Any suggestions?

About to try another uninstall, this time with reboot.

Hi,

It may happen that Krusader configuration files were corrupted. Please
move ~/.kde/share/apps/krusader and ~/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc to
a different place and restart Krusader.

If you lost some valuable settings after this, please try to move the
files back one by one to find the corrupted part and restore the right
ones.
