open with options???

Hi All,

Xfce 4.13, Fedora 30

In Krusader, when I right click on a file and select Open
With, I get a list of programs.

How do I remove items from this list, especially the
repeats?

Please locate all mimeapps.list files in your system first.

$ locate mimeapps.list

Then edit the appropriate one (in my system, it's ~/.config/mimeapps.list).

This is for Xfce or other minimalistic environments only.

statements. It depends on "leafpad-x.desktop" contents. Generally, you should leave only one "text/plain=leafpad.desktop;magic-leafpad.desktop;wine-extension-txt.desktop;" line.
