Hello
According to the manual synchronizer is no longer supported. Are there any known problems in the use and it is recommended that the synchronizier better not to use?

What is the reason that this great tool is no longer supported?

Hi,

There were two bug reports with failures:

Then Jan decided to switch off Synchronizer as unmaintained. Now, Jan is inactive as a developer for more than year and we need new developers to revive Krusader.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Yuri

Talking about future developing, I'm interested in porting Krusader to Qt5/KF5 as I recently switched on my laptop.

Is there an active project I can join, or a scheduled TODO?

Thanks
Davide

Hi,

AFAIK, there is no current schedule or TODO (all schedules in the past were
not followed by Jan).

You can create a review request here (just like in other git-related
systems):

https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/

If there will be no response from the current developers, say, for a month,
register a developer account.

https://techbase.kde.org/Contribute/Get_a_Contributor_Account

If nobody from the developers side will answer I can be a sponsor for you
as a documentation maintainer (indentity "yurchor").

Best regards,
Yuri
