After I moved around some folders in Krusader 2.4.0-beta3 (running on Ubuntu 14.04) it seems that I broke the binding of popular urls to folders (url's).

I now see errors above Krusader windows that some urls do not exist.  The popular url's list needs to be refreshed.

But I do not see where to purge/refresh popular urls.  I have read that they are created dynamically based on frequency of usage?  But where are they saved?   It seems that they cannot be deleted from the Cntrl + Z popup window.

I have looked in hidden files .. ~/.kde/share/apps/krusader/ .. but no popular urls to be seen anywhere.

Have you tried seeing
~/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc
?

I have still not cracked this problem ..

I launch both user mode and root mode Krusader windows.

I found PopularUrls in these two hidden files ..

/root/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc
/home/<user>/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc

I deleted all the entries after PopularUrls= and PopularUrlsRank=

I closed Krusader and relaunched .. but all the entries returned to popup window Ctrl + Z.

I tried again leaving just one entry .. but the full list returned.

I also tried rebooting.

So I have not yet purged this list. What recreates this list in config?
There should be a GUI settings option to clear these lists.

It would be better if you closed Krusader, and then you deleted all the
entries. Otherwise, when Krusader was closed, it would overwrite those files.
