Any updates on the Pi-Smasher and shipments?

I hate to be a wet blanket, but are there any updates on the Pi-Smashers? I think that's whats holding up my shipment for my Snickerdoodle Blacks. It's been an awful long time since I ordered just after the campaign completed.

Hey Freeman, 

The piSmasher is moving along! Should be wrapped up in April - it has indeed been an awful long time, but we think everyone will be pleased with the outcome when all's said and done. 

I was hoping to push out another update this week as we just wrapped up another manufacturing run, but I'm still waiting on some information from Crowd Supply before we can start sending the latest snickerdoodles out the door... We'll have some more 'official' news very soon though. 

Thanks for sticking with us. Your patience will not be spent in vain.

In a recent update, Ryan mentioned two versions for the piSmasher and an upgrade path from preorder to general purchase.
Does it mean that, after nearly two years delay, we will have to pay an extra for the full featured versions?
Could some one recall the specification of piSmasher at the time of the campaign and the one of the latest design?

Hi Dominique, 

While the piSmasher specification has changed a couple of times – for a variety of reasons – over the years, we remain committed to delivering products with the highest possible degree of quality and value to all our backers. We're still working through the details of exactly which configurations will be delivered, however I can assure you nobody will be receiving a subpar product (as anyone who has received hardware from us can hopefully attest to). 

We always strive to be as flexible and fair as we can. Of course, sometimes it's impossible to please everyone but if anyone is unpleased with our decisions or the products being delivered, we will certainly work with you to achieve a mutually satisfactory outcome. 

More details will be shared as we get closer to the delivery date and there will be ample opportunity for everyone to update (or cancel) their order as desired based on the information provided.

I can attest the quality of the Snickerdoodle and BrickyBricky. No doubt on that.
The only issue is the two years delay. But I prefer to wait a while than receiving half backed product.
Keep us posted on this upgrade path. We hope for good news at reasonably priced.
