Snickerdoodle Black orders and builds

I'm wondering how many of the orders are for the Black model?

And how many of the first good PCB delivery will be built into Blacks?

Looking at the Crowd Supply page, if the # of pledges represents the number of total boards ordered, and making a rough estimate that the amount raised is all for boards, then that would be about 3000 regular Snickerdoodles and about 200 Blacks.  Is that close? or does the number of pledges mean line items and there are a lot of other items ordered besides boards?

I know you must be busy.  But I would appreciate any update on the Black delivery schedule.

Hi Aaron,

The black/regular split is roughly 50/50, which our build ratios will roughly track.

The number of pledges on the CS page represents the number of individual items "ordered" - e.g. if you ordered a snickerdoodle black + piSmasher + SD card that would could as 3 pledges. We are in the process of building 2000 snickerdoodles, which will be enough to fulfill the CS preorders (and some other pending orders) and leave us with a handful of "extras."
