In continuation of our ongoing efforts with the school run by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram (VKAM), we are planning one more trip to the school. The purpose of this visit is the following:
1. Meet students of 9th and 10th standard.
2. Understand their aspirations.
3. Give them immediate guidance if we have answers ready.
4. Come back and search on net and other sources to find the answers to questions which we could not answer immediately (e.g. what is the process to apply for the post of a constable -- qualifications, deadlines, tests, preparation etc).
5. Document this info online as well as make it available to the students.
Other agenda:
1. Take their feedback on a couple educational videos that we have made (internet and e-mail usage, windows installation)
2. Check if the LAN is working fine.
We will be going on 31st Jan or 1st Feb. Due to some constraints at their end, only 4-5 of us will be going. Will keep you updated. Some of you might be able to help us in collecting the info online as well as in making educational videos. More on this soon.
