Good evening,

I didn't read the full article, however, I thought that the first few paragraphs were definitely eye openers! The fact that in the US alone, we have 73 million millennials screams OPPORTUNITY to me. The average annual spending (purchasing power) per millennial is $2,739 (200 Billion divided by 73 Million). If we were to engage with only 1% of the 73 million millennials- that is 730,000 people and say they only spend 10% of their average annual spending, we have the potential of making anywhere from $150M to 200M a year EASY.

I'm curious to know how we can attract and retain these millennials!!

Excited to read more!

Celine Roque (Oct 2018) identifies a target audience - Millennials. Pew Research Center defines millennials as people born between 1981 to 1996. There are roughly 73 million millennials in the United States, 8.82 million millennials in the U.K. The potential market in just two countries is greater than 80 million between the ages of 22 and 37 years old. Do you think the Millennial market is the prime target audience for Kristen? How can we test this assumption?

Great post Leena. I believe that becoming much more aware is a necessary first step - Now we can see the opportunity. To attract Millennials we first have to understand what makes this market peculiar. Particularly as it relates to music.
