Job
Summary
We
are seeking an experienced AWS Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize
our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience
with AWS services, cloud security, automation, system administration, and
troubleshooting in production environments.
Key
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud
infrastructure.
- Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS,
CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling, and Lambda.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and
high-availability solutions.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions using IAM.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and system maintenance
activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and
application-related issues.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration
using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and
organizational standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security
teams to support cloud initiatives.
Required
Skills
- Strong experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Hands-on expertise in EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53,
ELB/ALB, CloudWatch, SNS, and Lambda.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and/or
Windows Server administration.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPN,
Load Balancing, TCP/IP, and Security Groups.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as
Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and cloud
security best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash,
Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub
Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred
Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and automation
practices.
Nice
to Have
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure,
GCP).
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk,
Datadog, or New Relic.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related field.
