Amarendra Dasa academically holds a double Masters’ degree from the US, one in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and the other in Business Administration state of Minnesota in the US. He is a globe-trotting inspirational speaker, who has travelled across various continents, giving talks on big questions about life such as Science, religion, culture and meditation. Prabhu completed his Bhakti shastri in 2010 and systematically pursuing his spiritual study deeper with time, took diksha from His Holiness Rādhā Govinda Dāsa Goswami.
Maharaj is a sanskrit scholar and spiritual master from Vrndāvana, who under the instruction of Srila Prabhupada, has been studying and teaching Bhagavatam since 50years.
Being instructed by maharaj to preach in the western world, prabhu travels along with his good wife Swastika Dāsi to address congregations, temples, centers and numerous inter-religious faith conferences and scientific symposiums. He has even lectured at world class universities such UMass, MIT, and Harvard. Currently he serves as the Co-Congregational director for ISKCON ATLANTA and as the shastric head for the community, mentors the Bhakti Vrksha leaders.
Professionally, Prabhu is a Sanskrit teacher who deeply focuses on Srila Jiva Goswami’s Harināmāmrta-vyākaranam. He also teaches Indian classical vocal music
