As you chant you should think, “I have been told by my spiritual master to chant Hare Krsna, and that alone will give me pure love of God. So I feel very confident in my spiritual master’s words. Therefore, I shall chant as he instructed me.” In this way, by saying the names of Krsna, you will think both of your spiritual master and the Supreme Lord.
