Put God in the Center

The present day patterns of incarceration bring a civilization down. People
begin to think that they need convenience rather than love-just marry
someone who will take care of you. However, if a person puts God in the
center, he or she will look for a partner who will assist in their spiritual
evolution. You want to find a partner who will help you advance spiritually.
If that type of relationship does not manifest, you have to realize that you
do not have the right connection.

When we make our prayers, we want to stop asking for material commodities
since they have caused our current predicament in the first place. We want
to pray, "Dear Lord, You know what I need and surely know what I want, but
please let me have what I really need. Thy will be done." It involves an
individual, institutional, and global mindshift. We invoke the most powerful
prayers when we simply try to connect with the Supreme Lord. We emphasize
calling on the names of God to make that powerful connection. We dont want
to pray for cars, houses, friends, or more money; we want to get out of the
same old paradigm.
