Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances . All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I am in Haridwar now and in the association of H.H. Radha Govinda
Maharaj having some yoga and pranayama classes for His Holiness and
some devotees. Yesterday when His Holiness and myself were discussing
about Paneer, Maharaj mentioned that Srila Prabhupada had specifically
written to Kirtananada Maharaj that once you add salt to Paneer it is
actualy spoilt, meaning that it is not good for consumption at all.
Paneer used as sweet for example in Sandesh is good. He said that
Prabhupada mentioned that once you add salt to Paneer it is finished.
Also the only paneer good for consumption is the one made at home.
Paneer purchased from the market is mostly caustic soda which is
artificially made which is causing most of the health problems
devotees develop.
I would appreicate everyones comments on this one.
