Hare Krsna is our original taste. Srila Prabhupada used to say, “It is not an artificial imposition on the mind.” It has been going on for thousands of years all over India. It is not some mind control as the deprogrammers claim in their devious, material way. It is actually the original spiritual taste. So we say that if you chant, the taste comes back like with the jaundiced man. The happiness that we are looking for life after life, all over the universe, in travels, in scholarship, in sex life, in nationalism, in everything, is to be found in the chanting process.
