A feature of the new website www.krishnamurti-nz.org is the 'monthly
audio download'. This can be found at:

https://sites.google.com/site/krishnamurtinz/home/monthly-audio-download

left-clicking on the link will play immediately, or by right-clicking
one can download the file and play later.

The first audio download is the first discussion in the series “The
Ending of Time”, entitled “The Ending of Psychological Time”

The Ending of Time is a series of 15 discussions between Krishnamurti
and David Bohm, who was professor of Theoretical Physics at London
University, which took place in 1980.

It is hard to find the words to describe the depth and significance of
these talks. The material covered is unlike that of K's public talks.
He goes into the origins of life, consciousness and the Universe
itself.

Beyond emptiness, beyond energy, beyond the universal conciousness, he
says, lies “the ground of all things” Where everything comes from, and
everything falls into. What is the relationship of this ground to
mankind?, he asks.

But mankind is caught is psychological time, and limited by this. The
question “Can time end?”, is one of the major themes of these
discussions.

The first talk, entitled “The roots of psychological disorder”,
explores if mankind has taken “a wrong path”, “a wrong turning” in his
evolutionary history, causing him to live a life of such chaos.

The series of 15 discussions will presented one by one on a monthly
basis as audio downloads on this webpage. They are also available from
the Krishnamurti postal lending library in CD form, or as the book.

has been updated.

The second discussion in the series “The Ending of Time”, is now available, entitled:

Cleansing the Mind of The Accumulation of Time

An excerpt:

Krishnamurti: What are we trying to do?

DB: I think, to communicate regarding this absolute, this beyond.

K: I took away that word `absolute' immediately.

DB: Then whatever it is; the beyond emptiness and silence.

K: Beyond all that. There is beyond all that. All that is something, part of an immensity.

DB: Yes, well even the emptiness and silence is an immensity, isn't it? The energy is itself an immensity.

K: Yes, I understand that. But there is something much more immense than that. Emptiness and silence and energy are immense, really immeasurable. But there is something - I am using the word, `greater', - than that . . . . . . . .

The third discussion in the "Ending of Time" series has been posted on
the website http://www.krishnamurti-nz.org as a downloadable mp3 file.
See:
http://www.krishnamurti-nz.org/home/monthly-audio-download.

The discussion is entitled "Why Has Man Given Supreme Importance To
Thought?" It contains an inquiry into the question "what is the
relationship of this ground to mankind?". Can man touch it, can he
come to it? Without that, Krishnamurti says, life has no meaning at
all."
