Hello Everyone

Our monthly Schoolhouse Yoga kirtan will be held this Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 pm.  This is a gathering for enthusiastic kirtan lovers from all over the Northeast so don't miss it! See www.schoolhouseyoga.com or contact us for more info.

We are adjusting our Simple Lunch program hours.  For the time being, we will be serving Monday- Friday 11:30-2:00pm. 

Also, Tom from the Dao Center is holding free Tai Chi classes from 5-6pm in Cathedral 244B, so stop by and work up an appetite before the vegetarian lecture and feast...

Vegetarianism 101 - Mini Course Series
Time: Tuesdays, 6-7pm
Location: Pitt Union Basement
Cost: Free for Students and Faculty, $108 for all others
Free Fresh Cooked Vegan Meal served after class

The Vedas: Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and More - Mini Course Series - Learn what things like Karma, Yoga, Dharma, Guru, Eternity, and Time really are. As given by the oldest books in the world.
Time: Wednesdays, 7:30-9pm
Location: Krishna Cooperative Culture and Wellness Center (4610 Winthrop St, Rear Entrance)
Cost: Free for Students and Faculty, $108 for all others
Fresh Cooked Vegan Meal served after class

Kirtan Yoga and Mantra Meditation 101 - Weekly Workshop
Time: Thursdays 6-7pm
Location: U Pitt Union Basement, Stress Free Zone Room.
Free Fresh Cooked Vegan Meal served after class

Free Kirtan Session @ Maggies!- Maggie has kindly agreed to host this weekly session meant for the upliftment and unification of one and all. Come partake of the vegan eats and transcendent beats.
Time: 7-8pm Fridays
Location: Maggie's Vegan Restaurant, 300 South Craig St., Oakland

Morning Program- Experience a morning of 'sadhana' (inner cultivation) as practiced by monks, yogis, and sages of ancient India. Begins with bhajans, songs sung in Bengali and Sanskrit, followed by reading and discussion from the Srimad Bhagavatam, a 5000 year old book of wisdom considered to be one of the most prominent Vedic texts.
Open to all.
Time: Every morning, 7:30am-9am

Simple Lunch - Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 2pm. Fresh food. $3 donation. Get it at the Krishna Cooperative.

Schoolhouse Yoga Charity Benefit Kirtans - Schoolhouse Yoga has kindly agreed to host regular kirtans for the wellness of the attendees and the world. 100% of proceeds will be donated to charity. Krishna Cooperative's experienced kirtan artists will be serving as the kirtan leaders.
Time: 7:30-9pm, Saturday, Feb. 21
Cost: $10 Donation to Food For Life
Place: Schoolhouse Yoga Studio, Squirrel Hill Location (2010 Murry Ave)

Thanks to all who made the Schoolhouse kirtan a success!  The group energy was especially powerful this time around.  If you missed it this month, we'll have pictures, video, and mp3s on the website sometime next week for your transcendental enjoyment.  Here is the rundown for this week:
