So far 63 devotees have registered. We’ll finalize tickets list by Sunday 15th Dec evening.

Mayor of batam has reconfirmed that he will open this grand festival of Rathayatra.
Also gave official support for festival tent, stage, banners, news coverage, press conference etc.
They also requested to conduct this festival every year henceforth. Hari Bol!

One very happy news. For the first time in the history of batam, grand Jagannath Rathayatra is being organized.
More details about this festival are mentioned in email below from HG Samudra Sena Prabhu.
Batam has total Hindu population of approx 500 & total active devotees around 20. (including muslims).
Government there, although Islamic, is highly supportive for this festival & providing all needed facilities.
Mayor of batam will be opening this festival on most crowded street of Nagoya business district.
Expert team of enthusiastic devotees from Bali will be joining to perform ecstatic kirtan there.
Also devotees there would be cooking Indian style prasadam for all Rathayatra participants.
It'll be great support for batam preaching efforts, if many devotees from Singapore can join this Rathayatra.
Lord Jagannath will definitely be showering His special mercy on everyone on this super special occasion.

After dreaming for many years, by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and HH Subhaga Swami, 1st Sri Jagannath Ratha Yatra Festival will be conducted in batam on 22 Dec 2013.
We are very small devotees in this island thus we consider this festival is very big project Devotees from Indonesia have made very beatiful rath for Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra.
Batam government has also gave their support to this festival and permision was given. The success of this 1st Rathayatra festival will determine future of another festival.
Thus we pray that huge number of devotees from Singapore can attend this 1st Batam Jagannath Ratra Yatra.
Devoteess can be back to singapore at the same day or stay in Batam based on the acomodation request.
Hotel Rate : 25 – 50 SG$. We will announce soon the selected hotel.
Our humble request to all Singapore devotees to please encourage all devotees from all congregations to come to Batam & shower us with your mercy.
Rathayatra Program Details:
11:00 am – 12:00 pm : Arati, Kirtan and Dance in front of Side Panorama Regency Nagoya
12:00 pm – 15:00 pm : Commencement of Rathayatra and Kirtan till Wihara Budhi Bhakti Nagoya
15:00 pm – 16:00 pm : Darshan of Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra and Kirtan
16:00 pm – 17:00 pm : Speech from Government, Hindu Batam Society, Sakkhi and Lecture from HH Subhaga Swami
18:00 pm – 19:00 pm : Prasadam
1 day before Jagannath Ratra Yatra we will also conduct CIDADAHI FESTIVAL.
