Dear Cow lovers,

Our PM Modi ji , has initiated the idea of cow sanctuaries.
According to Vedas Cows are the best agents to reclaim waste lands for creating new pastures and greenery.
Modern environmental scientists have also discovered the phenomenon of preventing desertification and reclamation of waste lands by introducing cattle . It has been found that cow dung and urine in soil retains moisture and retains rain water in the soil . Over the years the soil becomes rich with humus to greater depth and greenery is restored, These phenomenon have been confirmed by environmental biologist Allan Savory . Allan Savory Institute of UK is providing world wide consultancy on reclaiming wastelands with cows.
These ideas are not new to us. Vedas provide very detailed insight in to the technology of reclaiming wastelands by cows as is also explained in the enclosed note.

Shri Ramesh Maharaj at Barsana has taken the task to provide shelter to all cows that are abandoned , rescued from slaughterers and  smugglers.
In just about 7 years more than 35000 cows are  at present being  provided  shelter by Ramesh Maharaj in Shri Mata ji Goshala at Barsana.
In 2013, when   there were 21000 cows in Shri Mata ji Goshala Barsana, the   authorities were approached for allotment on lease of additional adjacent wastelands to them. Copy of details of the adjacent lands and correspondence with district authorities are attached as enclosures.
In two years time from 2013 to 2015, the number of cows in the goshala has gone up from 21000 to 35000. It is estimated by Ramesh Maharaj that Barsana will ultimately provide shelter to one lac i.e. 100,000 cows in a few years time.
Such a large number of cows provides this region with an opportunity to establish the first cow sanctuary in North India. This will not only bring about a great reversal of global warming in this area but will also add large amount green lands for new pastures and additional agri/horticulture activity.
This is a research observation by world dairy industry that pasture fed cow milk is not only rich in medicinal qualities i.e, high CLA unsaturated fat content, High Vitamin D content and High Carotenoid content  but the cost of milk  produced by pasture fed cows is also 50% less than the cost of stall fed dairy cow milk.
Thus pasture fed cow milk is unaffected by inflationary pressures of a growing developing economy.
Indian Dairy professionals are forecasting that price of Dairy milk in India will touch Rs.100 per liter in the years to come. Thus milk can me nearly unaffordable to the masses in future. Only pasture fed cow milk can keep the rising milk prices in India under control. For this to happen more    waste lands will have to be reclaimed by creating more cow sanctuaries.
It is submitted that Govt authorities may consider to declare the wasteland areas bordering UP with Rajasthan as shown in the attached Shri Mata ji Goshala proposal of 2013 in to a National Cow Sanctuary in the best environmental ,agricultural ,health and social cause of the country.
