When switching on my laptop, ROG logo appears twice. First the ROG logo appears then black screen for 2/3 seconds and then again ROG logo appears and continues like a normal boot up, loading lock screen eventually. How do I fix this? The boot up time has increase because of this issue.
Not only does the laptop boot twice but also it is not able to hibernate. If I press the power button for hibernate, it just kills of all the applications.
Please fix this.
Already tried a few tricks with the help of customer care, but has not worked.
Regards,
Vinay
I have been facing the same exact issue. I have tried contacting the customer care , they told me to reset the laptop by pressing down the power button for 40 seconds, the issue seemed to resolved after i tried restarting it. But when i did a complete shut down the issue was still there.
And you can't let it sleep either because thanks to the modern standby, it doesn't sleep, just stay awake getting hotter and degrading the battery. Even if you disable modern standby, my Zephyrus would wake up just because to do whatever and ends hanging himself up. And I've checked, got no wake timers active, and last wake event always return empty. Total win of a laptop.
BTW back to your original post, the reason you are seeing two ROG logos, the first one shows during POST, you can disable it if you want, and reduce post time from 3s (I believe that was the default) to 1s. The second one is the Windows boot logo, which is customized to be a ROG logo.
I even reinstalled windows on my pc .. for two days i thought that resolved the issue .. machine was starting normally for 2 days .. the third day the issue returns .. i thing the annoying part for me is that i am not able to undetstand why this is happening .. this just happens randomly .. the only thing i can understand is installing the armoury crate ..
Hey guys, I have a 2023 model and I am facing the same issue. The service center even replaced the motherboard thinking it might solve the issue, but after 2 weeks the same old problem came up. The Asus logo boots up twice, multiple blue screens of death while waking from sleep mode, random restarts while the system is idle, these are all the problems I am facing.
Hi , my phone switched off on its own yesterday and on turning on it keeps showing ASUS logo. I can see some other users are also facing the same problem. Since last FOTA update i have been getting "Your device is corrupt" message but it was working fine. I believe it is running on the latest Pie update. Any help would be appreciated.
I've gone through that video which is why I ended up replacing the CMOS battery for the BIOS as all of those steps and fixes didn't do anything about my black screen. After I replaced the CMOS battery, the screen finally turned on, but no logos appear and I can't access the BIOS from the F keys.
I took the battery out and held the power button. Once the battery was back in, the computer turned on and the screen was lit, but still blank with no logos. I took out the battery again and plugged in the charger with the same results; computer turns on, screen is lit, but blank with no start up logos.
The fan is running and keyboard functions work like caps lock, ctrl+alt+del (it turns the screen off for a bit). The ribbons on the motherboard are for the keyboard and the hard drive so I don't think those were attached incorrectly. I do have a new hard drive that I bought in it. Does it matter that I don't have the old one inside it?
Yes I went through all of the steps from that guide and I got the same result as before: black screen. It wasn't until I actually replaced the CMOS battery from a different ASUS guide that I actually got the screen to light up/turn on this time.
You can't see anything on the screen as in, nothing comes up; no logos no loading circle dots. The screen is ON and is fully bright, but black with no information coming up at all. Before replacing the CMOS battery, the screen was black and would not turn on at all. When I connect the laptop to my external monitor, it says that there is no input signal.
Hey I am facing same kind of issues I have Dell Inspiron 15 3521 I had issue in my power segment on my motherboard (as repair shop guy told because few drop of water was felt)
the issue is when booting my laptop is turning on but no dell logo appears most of time only black screen but after few times of on/off it starts(boot) normally i have tried changing CMOS battery and RAM yes my boot options are working few time while black screen then also it boots up normally and also no issue while rebooting or sleep.
Please reply if you have any solution or suggestion.
My N552-VW Asus laptop randomly gets stuck on Asus logo and I have to push the power button to turn it off and on again so it might work and boot into windows but it might not work and get stuck again so I have to go for the second or third try. The operating system is windows 10 enterprise 64-bit (10.0, build 19045) and is partitioned on SSD drive
There are some other things that I face some times:

Asus this week revealed two super-thin new laptops, which many are seeing as direct competitors to the MacBook Air. The 15 and 13-inch Zenbook models are ultra-light and portable, and feature OLED displays. Oh, and a weirdly familiar new logo.

Asus is the name of a computer corporation that was established in 1989 in Taiwan and today has its presence worldwide, being one of the most famous manufacturers of P.C., laptops, mobile phones, accessories, and hardware. The company was founded by former Acer engineers and quickly became its main competitor in the market.
Meaning and history
The name of the company, Asus, was derived from the name of one of the gods in Greek mythology, Pegasus. Being pretty experienced in marketing and branding, the Asus founders decided to shorten it to take the upper positions in the lists in alphabetical order. Another reason was to get the name closer to Acer, its main potential contestant.
The redesign of 1995 brought to the brand its iconic emblem the whole world knows today. The previous logo was simplified and elevated by removing all the detail except for the main logotype and darkening its blue shade. The new logo features a capitalized inscription in a custom sans-serif typeface with all letters executed in one size and placed very close to each other so that some of the lines are glued. The thing, which makes the logo unique and memorable is a white line, which cuts the inscription horizontally in its upper part and adds sharpness and a special character to the whole composition.
The blue and white color palette Asus chose for its visual identity is one of the most commonly used combinations for the brands, connected to technologies and the computer industry, as it reflects stability, expertise, and high quality, along with safety and professionalism.

As of 2024,[update] Asus is the world's fifth-largest personal computer vendor by unit sales.[8] Asus has a primary listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under the ticker code 2357 and formerly had a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker code ASKD.
Asus was founded in Taipei in 1989[13] by T.H. Tung, Ted Hsu, Wayne Hsieh and M.T. Liao,[14] all four having previously worked at Acer as hardware engineers. At this time, Taiwan had yet to establish a leading position in the computer hardware business. Intel Corporation would supply any new processors to more established companies like IBM first, and Taiwanese companies would have to wait for approximately six months after IBM received their engineering prototypes. According to company history, Asus created a motherboard prototype for using an Intel 486, but it had to do so without access to the actual processor. When Asus approached Intel to request a processor to test it, Intel itself had a problem with its own 486 motherboard. Asus solved Intel's problem and it turned out that Asus' motherboard worked correctly without the need for further modification. Since then, Asus was receiving Intel engineering samples ahead of its competitors.[15][16]
In September 2005, Asus released the first PhysX accelerator card.[17] In December 2005, Asus entered the LCD TV market with the TLW32001 model.[18] In January 2006, Asus announced that it would cooperate with Lamborghini to develop the VX laptop series.[19]
