Seeking New Herald for Krae Glas

Your Herald is seeking a successor to take the role of Herald for Krae Glas come the new calendar year.

My tenure will expire in January 2025 so I will need someone to take over.

The role requires:

• Mentoring and teaching new heralds in the ways of voice and/or book heraldry
• Helping the populace to register their SCA names and devices with Lochac's College of Heralds (you do not need to know book heraldry but you will need to be able to refer people to the relevant experts if you don't)
• Organising people to herald court and tournaments at events
• Recording and submitting awards given out at events
• Reporting to Crux every quarter
• Attending Baronial meetings once a month

The role generally takes less that an hour a week to do. No prior experience is necessary. Training and ongoing support is provided.
