Hello,
I have downloaded kqzfs some times ago and, as you can see in my other
posts,, I have some problems.
I would like to know how can I check I have the latest version, or if
there is a ppa to add to ubuntu so I can be sure to have latest bug
fixes.

Thanks,
Mario

There seems to be a ppa repository https://launchpad.net/~dajhorn/+archive/zfs
and it claims to install natize zfs from http://zfsonlinux.org/ and
http://kqstor.com/.
But i'm not sure if it's updated with code updates from kqstor. Can
someone please confirm on this?
If not, as Mario suggests, it would be great if we could have a ppa
repository from where we can get updates.

The PPA is more recent than the stable KQ release, but let me know if a
feature is missing.

Thanks for that update Darik ! yep, the PPA repository indeed had a
release candidate.
But, the doubt came in when i read 'ubuntu-zfs package installs the
native ZFS filesystem for Linux from http://zfsonlinux.org and
http://kqstor.com'.
Is it because kqstor has its base from http://zfsonlinux.org? Or
because the PPA repository reflects feature updates from kqstor and
http://zfsonlinux.org? Are they both in sync?

Hi,

KQ Stor code is based on zfsonlinux.org's SPL version 0.5.2 and ZFS version 0.5.1.
KQ Stor made significant changes in both of them and added Linux Posix Layer.

Now the release candidates on zfsonlinux.org(0.6.0.x) also contains Linux Posix Layer but
author has taken the different approach than KQ Stor.

Right now both are not in sync.

Thanks & Regards,
Sandeep Kapse

Earlier, I was merging from both of the behlendorf/master and
zfs-linux/master repositories.

Right now, the PPA is based on Brian Behlendorf's work, but I will
cherry pick anything interesting that appears in the KQ branch.
