Go sdk?

Hi,

Is https://github.com/GoogleContainerTools/kpt-functions-sdk/tree/master/go supposed to serve as a Go SDK to author new functions? Or is the recommended approach to follow the example at https://github.com/GoogleContainerTools/kpt/blob/master/functions/examples/helloworld/function.go and work exclusively via kyaml?

The example is best for now.
