Hope this email finds you well, we met at Fungus Fair several years ago. I have been looking at the Funny River fire from last year and think that there will be lots of morels to be had. There are 2 trails that lead into the Wildlife Refuge, it looks like access is good. I'd like to get a group together and hit the area, anyone interested?  Regards, Steve Eckelman

I am starting to see pictures on Facebook from local folks of their morel harvest. Let's hope it's a long and bountiful season!
The group that was started this winter is going by the same name as this one. George did talk with Dominique about reviving this group and it sounded like it wasn't going to happen, so he started a new one, same name. But now i see we are all still here! If you want to be added to that email list for hikes, events, special speakers, you can email Kenai...@yahoo.com. If we get enough members that are official NAMA members, we can be listed on their website.
